Poungphet UK Ceramics is a family business based in Buckinghamshire, borne out of the successful family business in Thailand, Poungphet by BPC.

Poungphet UK stocks beautiful individually made tableware pieces from Thailand in the UK, to deliver to customers across the UK for home and hospitality.

The story of Poungphet Ceramics began with designer Poungphet Aungsuthorn, her exquisite handmade tableware and decorative pieces are internationally sought after. In October 2000, Poungphet founded BPC Ceramics in Lampang, Northern Thailand. From here she continued the tradition of ceramics that has been present in the area for centuries.

2017 saw the launch of Poungphet By BPC, an exclusive line of products designed by Poungphet and sold in her Bangkok showroom.

Now Poungphet has expanded her range to include exclusive designs only available for the UK market.

Each piece is unique and carefully crafted to the highest quality by experienced local craftsmen and women in Bangkok before being shipped to us here at Poungphet UK for our UK customers.

Designer Poungphet also works closely with her workforce to help them develop new skills.

The result is beautiful, functional ceramics that bridge the gap between nature and modern life, created using natural elements of earth, wood, fire, and water. Something to be part of – something to treasure.
